Our reward offering

Our reward offering is made up of pay, benefits and recognition. Employees are offered flexibility in terms of how they structure their package. Employees are given the choice to participate in a number of benefits in line with their personal needs. Where allowable, the tax benefits of salary sacrifice choices are offered.

Pay

We offer packages which are fair and very competitive within our sector. We ensure that they are competitive by benchmarking regularly against the market, participating in a variety of relevant surveys.

We offer a growing range of standard and voluntary benefits which are available to you from your first day of joining the organisation.

Annual leave

We give you a generous holiday entitlement, which in most cases increases the longer you are with us. Our flexible annual leave scheme allows you to sell or buy additional annual leave should you choose. This offers employees the choice to customise their package in line with their personal circumstance.

Maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental leave

Subject to eligibility, enhanced levels of maternity and paternity pay are provided. We also offer Adoption and Shared Parental Leave.

Sickness absence

We provide a sickness absence scheme subject to eligibility and length of service.

Disability leave

We also provide disability leave for all our employees with a disability. This leave aims to provide staff with the support they need to deliver in their roles over the long term. Our staff use disability leave in different ways, but it can include paid time off to attend scheduled appointments, or time off when you need time away from work to focus on your well-being.

Pension

We are keen to help our employees provide for their future and retirement however far away it may seem. We have a pension scheme with our partners, Aviva. We’ll tell you more about it when we confirm your employment.

If you require an annual season ticket for travel to and from your normal place of work, we offer the opportunity to apply for a season ticket loan to cover the cost of your annual ticket.

Building a culture of recognition

We are working to build a culture of recognition, making this a fundamental part of our culture. This is supported by the rollout of our internal Facebook site, Workplace, where employees can share successes, and recognise the achievement of others.

Employee Recognition Awards scheme

We encourage everyone to recognise outstanding individual and team contributions, and we hold a formal recognition ceremony annually, where we have great fun celebrating our highest achievers and give out prizes.

To recognise the contribution and loyalty of our staff who have been with us for a while, we celebrate with a gift to say thank you.
