Holehird is a home (with nursing care) providing a range of services for adults with physical disabilities.

Our home is a two-storey house, on the outskirts of Windermere, in Cumbria. We are surrounded by countryside and beautiful horticultural gardens.

Windermere is in the Lake District National Park, one of the UK’s most attractive areas. Around Holehird you can enjoy stunning scenery, clear air and all sorts of visitor attractions.

Our residents make sure their home has a lively atmosphere. At their request we offer lots of activities, including art classes, quizzes, computer classes and cooking. We also hold events in the home where we are joined by people from the local community.

Our fully-trained staff work hard to make sure everyone is happy in their home. We support our residents to be independent and to take part in community activities as they wish.
